SAN FRANCISCO - Despite the recent round of budget cuts, Assistant Speaker pro Tempore Leland Yee (D-San Francisco) today announced the continuation of $2.6 million in state grants for San Francisco's mentally ill adults and child.

"There is no doubt that these are extremely difficult budgetary times, but I am pleased that we were able to protect funds for those who are most vulnerable," said Assemblymember Yee.
