Senate District 8 Spring Clean-Up
 

Join Team Ashby and Councilmember Caity Maple for a day of community service with several local organizations to beautify James Mangan Park in Sacramento.

Date: Saturday, March 1st, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM 
Location: 2140 34th Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95822

This beautification project is part of an ongoing effort from Team Ashby and Councilmember Maple to earn a Clean California Community Designation. Volunteers will assist with trash pick-up around the sports fields and cleaning the playground to create a welcoming environment for all.
 

What to Expect:

Planting, cleaning, and trash pickup.
Help transform the park into a vibrant space for neighbors to enjoy.
Snacks and water will be available for all volunteers.
 

What to Bring:

Comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes for outdoor work.
Optional: Personal tools or gloves if preferred.
 

**Important Note: when you arrive to the event, each volunteer will need to fill out a waiver form in order to participate.
